When staying in our beautiful villa, you are welcome to receive complete privacy. The entire complex is for you to enjoy.
Should you wish for extra Food & Wine attention through excursions and catering, we have the following options available to you anytime:
HIKE +
LUNCH at the casale
Spend the morning hours hiking the beautiful nature trails around the villa, forage anything edible growing wild (varying by season and availability, of course) and then relax on your terrace while your cook prepares a wonderful home made light lunch using locally sourced ingredients. Bring your hiking/walking shoes and lets explore the hills of Umbria, then dine in the comfort of the villa. About 4 hours from 10am to 2pm
Up to 6 guests: Euro 60 per person
Up to 12 guests: Euro 50 per person
(Most dietary restrictions are welcome - please communicate them before hand. Group activity for up to 12 guests - private to your group of holiday-makers. Easy to Medium difficulty trails - depending on your strength).
WINE TASTING +
APERITIVO EVENING at the casale
Learn about local wines made with love by small producers as you enjoy a beautiful evening aperitivo on the terrace, lead by our certified sommelier. Typical Italian aperitivo style small bites will be provided to pair with the wines, as well as detailed information about each wine, the possibility to purchase bottles or cases to enjoy during your stay or to ship to your home country. About 2 hours from 5pm to 7pm

WINE TASTING IN LOCAL VINEYARD or WINERY
Umbria is well known for its fresh wines. Perfect for summer gatherings. Several small-family vineyard and wineries exist within 1 hour of the Casale, all of which are worth a visit! We will choose one such vineyard or winery (depending on their availability for the date you choose) for you to enjoy with us. You’ll follow us with your own car to the locations that we will have pre-arranged to host us. One of our favorites is just 30 minutes away, another is just 40 minutes away, while 2 others are just 10 minutes away (local to Giove). Based on their availability and your date chosen, we will arrange the entire experience for you and will accompany you along the way. Small family run wine makers are wonderfully welcoming, and usually need us to translate for them, so let’s go taste some Umbrian wines together! About 4 hours (including drive time) from 2pm to 6pm.

COOKING CLASS + LUNCH at the casale
Hands-on pasta making-class with cooking demonstration of local dishes with in-season ingredients, delicious lunch on the terrace or dining room (depending on weather), local wine pairing offered by our certified sommelier. Set up and clean up included as well, of course. About 4 hours from 11am to 3pm
